The prophet Muhammad (sm) was asked ‘What is Qurban ?,’ He answered ‘It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim, for every hair of the Qurbani you will receive a reward from Allah and for every hair in the wool you will receive a reward.’ (Hadith – Ibn Maja and Tirmidhi).

Association for Preaching Islam has been implementing the Qurbani program in reaching out to the new Muslims, the poorest and the most vulnerable communities. We organize the program throughout the Dhaka District to distribute Qurbani meat among the new Muslims and ultra-poor on the days of Eid-ul-Azha. Thousands of new Muslims, ultra-poor are benefited through this program.
